Making patu's

Every Thursday's we have a reliever. His name is Mr Leason. And when he comes we make patu's.

Patu's are maori weapons. We need lots of tools. The tools you need are rasp, file, sand paper,g-clamp

string and linseed oil. This is how you make it:first you get a piece of wood then you shape it like a

patu then you get a rasp and rasp it until it goes sharp when it is sharp. Then you get a file and file and

file away all the marks when you file away all the marks you get sand paper and make it smooth. Then

you get linseed oil and a paint brush you dip the paint brush in the linseed oil then you spred the linseed

oil on the patu. Then you get three peaces of string and plat it and tie the two ends togever and then your done.
